Stats for the last 24 hours - 194 more cases and 8 more deaths
Almería returns to touch the 200 daily positives in one day with 8 deaths
46 more people are admitted to hospitals, 6 of them in UCi, compared to 343 new cured
The daily positives of coronavirus rise again, after two days of decline, and are close to 200 daily cases. Specifically, the latest update from the Andalusian Institute of Statistics and Cartography (IECA) numbers 194 new cases detected in the last 24 hours through PDIA tests (PCR technique or rapid antigen test).
Also, this Wednesday leaves eight more deaths in the province, which places this marker very close to the 600 accumulated deaths since the beginning of the pandemic a year ago.
Regarding hospitalizations, with information collected until seven in the morning, in the last 24 hours there have been 46 more admissions in the province, 6 of them in the Intensive Care Unit.
Regarding the recovered, another day the figure invites us to breathe some optimism: 343 people have received the epidemiological discharge, so there are already 28,477 cured since the beginning of the health crisis.
Thus, the active cases of Covid-19 in the province to date, February 17, are 14,283: it is the difference between the total number of confirmed cases since the beginning of the health crisis (43,356) and the difference between the total deaths (596) and recovered (28,477).
The cumulative incidence rate also continues to decline. which is located in the province in 544.1 cases in the last 14 days per 100,000 inhabitants (on Tuesday it was 585.3). In the capital, this marker is today at 648.7, compared to 705.8 cases per 100,000 inhabitants on Tuesday.
With this latest data update, according to the Junta de Andalucía, right now there are 319 confirmed patients with Covid-19 admitted to the province of Almería; 69 of them are in the ICU.
In the autonomous community as a whole, the Ministry of Health and Families reports that, currently, after the 255 new admissions compared to yesterday (27 in ICU), there are now 3,191 confirmed patients with Covid-19 admitted, of which 643 they are in ICU.
The rest of the community presents this is the situation: in Cádiz there are 541 hospitalizations, of which 102 in ICU; in Córdoba, 263, of which 68 in ICU; in Granada there are 475 patients hospitalized for the disease, of which 99 are in the ICU; and in Huelva there are 172 hospitalizations, of which 30 are in the ICU.
Likewise, in Jaén 237 people are admitted with coronavirus, 48 of them in ICU; in Malaga there are 675 hospitalizations, with 105 in ICU; and in Seville, 509 hospitalized patients, with 122 in Intensive Care.
Regarding the total of positives in the community, this Wednesday 1,788 cases have been reported in the last 24 hours through PDIA, almost double than on Tuesday.
By provinces, Seville has added 411 more cases. Then Malaga appears with 350; with 287 Cádiz; Granada with 205; Almería with 194; Jaén with 135 positives notified in the last 24 hours; Córdoba with 105; and Huelva with 101.
Regarding the deceased, there are 77 more people who have lost their lives due to Covid-19; At 8 in Almería there are 10 in Cádiz, 6 in Córdoba, 17 in Granada, 1 in Hueva, 5 in Jaén, 11 in Malaga and 19 in Seville.
In the section of recovered, there are 2,217 Andalusians plus those who have received the epidemiological discharge.
In total, since the beginning of the health crisis, 467,123 people have contracted the disease in Andalusia, 7,851 have died and 299,264 have recovered.
