We have had a couple of power glitches today. Both of them hit me mid-edit. So I am now in the mode of saving any work I am doing on the computer very often just in case.
PS - don´t forget to back stuff up. We have a friend who didn´t back up the photos she had on her camera and she may have lost the lot.

We were up early to take part in the Virgen de Agosto golf competition today in Almerimar. The rocket went off at around 8:50 and we finished at around 2pm so it was a slow medal round.
It started off coolish with very wet fairways. Then the sun came out and we were boiling. Later in the round the floosie of the fret was doing her bit again and the course was covered with mist.
I came 18th with a net 74 and Jacqui was 24th with a net 75. Both of us managed to pick up prizes from the prize table. Thanks to Almerimar Golf for the prizes.

Jacqui is heartbroken that she was in her buffer zone and has not gone up 0.1. So her sloped handicap at Almerimar did not go up a shot in time for the BSM competition next Saturday.
Hot, hot, hot and that´s just a description of me what with reading 50 Shades of Grey plus watching Tom Daley diving in the Olympics!!!
It also applies to the weather here for the next week, in the low 30s on average. The wind will pick up late some afternoons, quite strong too from the west.
We´re playing in the Virgen de Agosto competition here at Almermar tomorrow 08.45am shotgun start zzzzzz. We will have plenty of suncream on, iced water in cool bags and brollies up for some shade especially as it will probably be a long round as the format is Medal.
Jacqui and I saw some rain today. A very unusual experience for August over here. I accompanied Jacqui on a trip into the province of Murcia today.
On the way home we had around 10 spots of rain on the windscreen as we were passing along the motorway around the Mojacar turn-off. I think that may be it for our summer rainfall this year.
