We will not be attending the prize giving ceremony tomorrow night. None of the 4 of Alan, Sharon, Jacqui and myself played very well.

The funniest thing that happened was a guy in another group a hole ahead of us on hole 14 played a bad shot and threw his club away about 20 metres ahead of him. It landed in a palm tree and he had to stand on his buggy and use a rake from a nearby bunker to reach up into the tree and rescue it. Serves him right.

Time for some drinks and tapas now. So a relaxing afternoon and no more articles to be published today.

It is a typical summer Friday here. Hot with not too much wind so far. Jacqui and I are just getting ready to go to Friday golf and Jacqui is reminding me not to be late.

We have a very good turn out for today - over 30 players which is a lot for this time of year.

We probably will not be posting much on the site today as once we finish the golf we will have to process the cards for handicaps, update the FGS site and send off the results for publication in the Sol Times next week.
