Black day in Almería: 10 deaths in the day with a record of deaths
Almost 90 new positives and 114 cured patients have been reported
Black day for the province of Almería, which in the last 24 hours has seen 10 patients die with coronavirus in which it is the worst day, so far, of the pandemic in Almería territory in terms of deaths.
This is collected by the data update of the Andalusian Regional Government's Ministry of Health and Families, which has also reported that today there have been almost 90 new positives detected, 87 if only PDIA (Active Infection Diagnostic Tests) are counted, which includes all cases of COVID-19 with active infection, confirmed by PCR technique or rapid antigen test, and 89 if serological tests are taken into account.
I this way, especially worrying is the increase in the number of people from Almeria who have lost their lives as a result of covid-19, which is already 149 since the beginning of the pandemic and which has experienced an unprecedented jump in 24 hours, since until today , October 27, the worst day in terms of deaths was August 13, when eight deaths from covid were reported in the province, as recorded by the Andalusian Institute of Statistics and Cartography on its website.
The distribution of the 10 deaths leaves the Levante-Alto Almanzora health district in an alarming situation, since it has registered seven of the 10, since the other three have occurred in the Almería district. Thus, Almería capital has notified three more deaths from 9:30 a.m. on Monday to the same time today and the rest, seven, have occurred one in each of the following municipalities: Albox, Cuevas del Almanzora, Huércal-Overa , Macael, Pulpí, Vélez-Rubio and Vera.
For its part, it should be noted that today, again, Levante-Alto Almanzora is the district with the worst situation, since it has had almost half of the 87 confirmed positives, which have raised the total to 11,008. However, good news has also arrived today, as 114 patients have recovered from the disease in the last 24 hours throughout the province of Almería and there are already 7,870.
