Stats for the last 24 hours - 24 more cases and 1 more death
Almería differs from Andalusia: it registers 24 cases of the 1,500 in the region
This good figure is clouded with a new death in the last 24 hours
Almería continues to record the best data for Andalusia, which is unable to stop the pandemic. One more day (and there are already many), the province is the Andalusian territory that registers fewer infections in one day.
According to the update of data by the Institute of Statistics and Cartography of Andalusia (IECA), the province added this Wednesday a total of 24 positives detected through PDIA tests (antigen test and PCR). The day before there were 31 infections.
The Andalusian community registers 1,492 cases this Wednesday.
This good figure is clouded with a new death in the last 24 hours. Since the start of the pandemic, 834 people with Covid have lost their lives.
According to data from the IECA, on this day we must add two new admissions in Almeria hospitals, one in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
The number of people who defeat the virus continues to grow, although at a slower rate than in previous days. A total of 37 people achieve it in these 24 hours. Since March 2020, there are already 53,144 people from Almeria who have overcome the disease.
As of this June 2, the province has a total of 890 active cases: it is the result of the difference between the total number of confirmed cases since the beginning of the pandemic (54,868) and the difference between the total number of deaths (834) and of recovered (53,144).
The provincial incidence rate for the last 14 days this Wednesday stands at 72.0 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.

The capital of Almería currently has an incidence rate of 90.4 infections in the last 14 days.
