Almería passes the barrier of fifty infections
The province maintains 866 active cases
Coronavirus infections increase in the last hours, but Almería continues to be the Andalusian province with the best daily data for Andalusia in this phase of the pandemic.
This Friday, according to the data update by the Andalusian Institute of Statistics and Cartography (IECA), the province will overcome the barrier of fifty new cases, by adding a total of 52 positives detected through the PDIA tests (test antigens and PCR). The day before there were 31 infections.
Cádiz is the second Andalusian province with fewer cases and almost triples those registered in the Almeria province, having 144.
The Andalusian community does not manage to lower the daily number of new positives and this day it is close to 1,500 again.
Almería does not register new deaths in the last 24 hours. Since the start of the pandemic, 834 people with Covid have lost their lives.
According to data from the IECA, on this day we must add three new admissions in Almeria hospitals, none in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
The number of people who defeat the virus continues to grow, although at a slower rate than in previous days. A total of 76 people achieve it in these 24 hours. Since March 2020, there are already 53,263 people from Almería who have overcome the disease.
As of this June 4, the province has a total of 866 active cases: it is the result of the difference between the total confirmed cases since the beginning of the pandemic (54,963) and the difference between the total number of deaths (834) and of recovered (53,263).
The provincial incidence rate for the last 14 days stands at 72.4 cases per 100,000 inhabitants this Wednesday.
