This is the rolling coronavirus story for Saturday 5 June 2021

Our internet connection was bouncing up and down yesterday. So I was unable to publish some of the stats yesterday. I have published them now.

Stats for the last 24 hours - 26 more cases and no more deaths

Google translation:

Almería distances itself from the rest of Andalusia with only 26 of more than 1,300 cases

The coronavirus reduces its severity in the province and there are only 9 patients left in the ICU

Despite presenting a small peak, surpassing the fifty positives detected in 24 hours yesterday, the province of Almería has returned to the usual figures of recent weeks and the autonomous community has completely distanced itself from the rest of the provinces by having detected only 26 new positives out of the more than 1,300 in all of Andalusia.

The epidemiological part of the Ministry of Health and Families of the Junta de Andalucía collects it this Saturday, in which Almería returns to the minimum levels of the first months of the pandemic, since not only has one of the lowest figures of new infected persons detected until 07:00 hours today, but, in addition, no deceased has been registered and now adds its third consecutive day without deaths among patients with coronavirus.

Hospitals improve

In the same way, the positive trend is also maintained in the three hospitals in Almería, where the situation has nothing to do with what has been maintained during the last six months and the figures for now have not been seen since the summer months, specifically Since August. And it is that, for the first time in nine months, the province has dropped from the 10 admitted to Intensive Care and today there are only nine Almeria in serious condition due to covid, eight less than there were now a week ago. In addition, the total of hospitalized today is 22 people from Almeria with coronavirus, 13 less than those registered last Saturday.

In global figures, Almería has already added 54,989 inhabitants since the beginning of the pandemic who have tested positive for coronavirus, as well as 834 deaths registered among these patients. For its part, there are also 53,280 people from Almería recovered and with an epidemiological discharge, 17 of them in the last 24 hours.

Regarding the autonomous community, Andalusia today has added 1,325 positives, of which only 26 correspond to Almería, which is, by far, the one that registers the least, since only Granada today follows in the footsteps with 74 infected, the second most low of the region.

By provinces, Seville is once again the one with the most positives with 323; followed by Malaga, with 291; Cádiz, 191; Jaén, with 147; Huelva, with 144, and Córdoba, with 129.

Regarding the deceased, there have been six deaths, two in Córdoba, one in Cádiz, one in Malaga, one in Granada and one in Seville. In addition, 933 people have been recovered, almost 400 less than the new cases.
