Almeria is dangerously close to 200 new contagions
The incidence rate is still increasing
The pandemic has not come to an end, as they remind us of the daily data. And it is that the new contagions do not stop going increasing, both in Almería and in the rest of Andalusia. The province is approaching Tuesday dangerously at 200 cases, a figure that was not reached since the end of April.
According to the last update of data by the Institute of Statistics and Cartography of Andalusia (ACEC), Almería sums a total of 179 positives detected through the PDIA tests (antigen test and PCR), compared to 143 on the eve ( that corresponded to Saturday and Sunday days).
The evolution of the pandemic remains negative in Andalusia, as far as many call the fifth wave. The Community registers in this last day a total of 2,906 cases, of which only Malaga contributes 1.031.
One more day, we must not regret new deaths in the province, which are maintained at 839 since the beginning of the pandemic in March 2020.
The Intensive Care Unit (UCI) does not suffer from new income, but it is necessary to add six new plants in Almería hospitals in the last 24 hours.
A total of 35 people have received the discharge, according to ACE data. Since March 2020, there are already 54,778 almerians who have exceeded the disease.
As of the date of July 13, the province has a total of 1,553 active cases: it is the result of the difference between the total number of confirmed cases since the beginning of the pandemic (57,170) and the difference between the total number of deceased (839) and recovered (54,778).
Last 14 days
The provincial incidence rate of the last 14 days rises to 165.8 cases per 100,000 inhabitants, compared to 146.6 of this Monday.
The situation of the sanitary districts of the province also worsens: Almería presents 204.2 contagion (on the eve was 166,6), the one of Poniente has 108 (compared to 105.0 of yesterday) and that of Levante-Alto Almanzora , 187.4 cases per 100,000 inhabitants (this Monday was 177.6).
The capital Almeriense has currently an incidence rate of 218.1 contagues in the last 14 days per 100,000 inhabitants, where the rate grows 42.3 points in just one day.

El Ejido now has 131.3 cases (approximately 5 more than yesterday) per 100,000 inhabitants based on the 14 day average (red for increase; blue for decrease)
Poniente Region now has 108.0 cases (approximately 3 more than yesterday) per 100,000 inhabitants based on the 14 day average (red for increase; blue for decrease)
