Stats for the last 24 hours - 265 more cases and no more deaths
Covid report: 265 new infections, five hospitalizations and two in ICU
Infections in the province decrease slightly, but it continues to exceed 250 new cases in the last 24 hours. In addition, hospitals in the province once again suffer a small 'blow' from this fifth wave of the coronavirus.
According to the data update by the Andalusian Institute of Statistics and Cartography (IECA), Almería registers this Wednesday a total of 265 positives detected through the PDIA tests (antigen test and PCR), 50 less than those reported this Tuesday , when it was returned to figures from last February.
Despite this high number, Almería is the third Andalusian province with the fewest infections. And it is that the region adds 3,560 new cases, which shows the poor evolution of the pandemic in the community.
The good news of the day continues to be in the deaths, without them having occurred in recent days. Since the start of the pandemic, 839 people with Covid have lost their lives in the province.
This Tuesday we must add another two new admissions in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and five hospitalizations in the plant, after the significant increase on Tuesday in the Almeria health centers.
According to the IECA, a total of 50 people from Almeria have overcome the disease in the last 24 hours. Since March 2020, there are already 55,180 people cured of Covid.
Active cases continue to increase in the province, standing at 2,808. This is the result of the difference between the total number of confirmed cases since the beginning of the pandemic (58,827) and the difference between the total number of deaths (839) and those recovered (55,180).
At the moment the page I use for Almería coronavirus stats has not updated I will look again later today to see whether the issue is resolved. If it is I will publish the updated stas for today.
