Stats for the last 24 hours - 377 more cases and no more deaths
Another almost 400 positives in Almería, which already has more than 60 hospitalized
In the last 24 hours, another 14 people from Almeria with covid have needed to be admitted
The coronavirus continues to make a dent in the province of Almería and this Saturday it has returned to leave figures that scare, because as has happened in recent days, Almería has dangerously approached the 400 positives detected in 24 hours again today.
This is collected by the epidemiological part of the Ministry of Health and Families of the Junta de Andalucía, where Almería has 377 new infected by covid since Friday, which means that the total of positives detected since March is already 62,123. The data of infected in the province of Almería are just as worrying as in the rest of Andalusia, since the autonomous community has today added a total of 5,138 and only Almería and Jaén have managed to lower the 400 positives, with Malaga and Seville in head, with 1,357 and 1,059 covid cases respectively.
In the hospitalized section, the province of Almeria has not done better either, since Torrecárdenas, Poniente and La Inmaculada have seen how today, again, patients admitted for the virus have increased again, with 14 more in just 24 hours, one of them in Intensive Care. Thus, after updating the data, 61 people from Almeria occupy a hospital bed, of which 12 are in a more serious condition in the ICU.
Deaths and cured
In this sense, Andalusia has not done better, since it has registered the fifth consecutive day of rise in the number of hospitalized with coronavirus to 1,225, 40 more in one day. For its part, patients in an Intensive Care Unit have also grown today by four more and now stand at 223.
For its part, the good news for the province has come in the count of deceased and in that of recovered, because if the former remains another day more intact (with 847 deaths among covid patients since March), for its part, the number of Almeria with the epidemiological discharge today rises to 212, which, on the other hand, does not prevent the number of active cases from continuing to increase, which now stands at 5,240.
Finally, it should also be noted that the cumulative covid incidence rate of the Andalusian community today stands at 582.3 per 100,000 inhabitants in the last 14 days, which represents 14 more points in 24 hours and already adds 30 consecutive days of incidence growth.
