Stats for the last 24 hours - 95 more cases and 3 more deaths
Three new deaths from Covid and infections close to one hundred
Hospital admissions do not stop in the province either
September has not started better after the shocking number of deaths that left the month of August. The pandemic continues to show its harshest face and the province adds three new deaths in this last day.
On the other hand, contagions experience a rise and once again reach a hundred cases. The Institute of Statistics and Cartography of Andalusia (IECA) communicates this Thursday a total of 95 positives detected through the PDIA tests (antigen test and PCR), 30 more than in the previous day.
Almería is the third Andalusian province with the fewest cases. Andalusia also sees the number of infections increase to 1,229.
After knowing the data of the last 24 hours, in Almería there are already 904 people with Covid who have lost their lives since the start of the pandemic, in March of last year.
Hospital admissions also did not stop and the province added four new admissions, one of them in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
A total of 290 people from Almeria have overcome the disease in the last 24 hours. Since March 2020, there are already 62,756 people who have defeated the coronavirus. A figure that causes the number of active cases in the province to continue to decline: currently a total of 4,717.
Last 14 days
Incidence rates for the past 14 days are also falling day after day. The province of Almería places its rate at 198.9 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.
The situation in the province's health districts is as follows: Almería has 201.5 infections, Poniente has 224.5 and Levante-Alto Almanzora 145.6 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.
The capital of Almería currently has an incidence rate of 194.2 infections in the last 14 days per 100,000 inhabitants.
The official publication of weekday infection stats is starting to get a bit iffy sometimes. So I have decided to only publish a single chart from now on. I have also added in textual details for the number of cases in the province of Almería.
Almeria Province now has 198.9 cases (approximately 157 fewer than yesterday) per 100,000 inhabitants based on the 14 day average (red for increase; blue for decrease)
Poniente Region now has 224.5 cases (approximately 2 fewer than yesterday) per 100,000 inhabitants based on the 14 day average (red for increase; blue for decrease)
El Ejido now has 217.3 cases (approximately 4 fewer than yesterday) per 100,000 inhabitants based on the 14 day average (red for increase; blue for decrease)
The vaccination stats were not updated fully on this day - so I will not publish any today.
