Almería, again over 100 infected, but without deaths
The province registers 10 hospital admissions, only one in Intensive Care
After five consecutive days in which the number of daily positives has not exceeded one hundred in Almería, the province today has again added more than 100 new infected in the last 24 hours, in which, on the other hand, there has been no need to mourn no deceased.
This is how it is collected this Friday by the daily update of the Covid Portal by the Ministry of Health and Families of the Junta de Andalucía, in which Almería appears with a total of 129 new positives, raising the total infections during the pandemic to 68,506 and that they come to break the fall that the epidemiological curve had registered during the last week, since it was last Saturday, August 28, when Almería exceeded 100 cases for the last time.
On the other hand, the Covid Portal does bring good news in the section of people from Almeria who died from covid, which remains at 904 after not registering any deaths in the last 24 hours and ends with three consecutive days in which the province has seen an increase the number of deaths from coronavirus.
Less than 5,000 active cases
For its part, the Junta de Andalucía has also notified the recovery of 350 people from Almeria who remained infected and who have received the epidemiological discharge after overcoming the coronavirus, which brings the total of these since the beginning of the pandemic to 63,106 and supposes, to in turn, a considerable reduction in the number of active cases, which today stands at 4,496.
In addition, Health reports an increase in the number of patients hospitalized for covid in Torrecárdenas, Poniente and La Inmaculada, which in the last hours has increased by 10, one of them in Intensive Care. Thus, there are now 73 hospitalizations, of which 21 in ICU.
Regarding the data of the autonomous community, Andalusia today has added a total of 1,095 new cases, which leaves the second consecutive day above a thousand after falling to three figures last Tuesday, August 31, and Wednesday , September 1st. Similarly, Health has reported a total of 29 deceased people throughout the autonomous community.
Almeria Province now has 193.6 cases (approximately 5 fewer than yesterday) per 100,000 inhabitants based on the 14 day average (red for increase; blue for decrease)
Poniente Region now has 218.9 cases (approximately 6 fewer than yesterday) per 100,000 inhabitants based on the 14 day average (red for increase; blue for decrease)
El Ejido now has 232.8 cases (approximately 15 more than yesterday) per 100,000 inhabitants based on the 14 day average (red for increase; blue for decrease)
