Collapse of contagions in Almería: only 24 in the last day

A data that is tarnished with three new deaths

The number of new infections by coronavirus suffers a great collapse in the last day and it is necessary to go back three months to see a similar figure in Almería. A figure that further lowers the incidence rate of the last 14 days, but is clouded with three new deaths.

And it is that the Institute of Statistics and Cartography of Andalusia (IECA) communicates this Tuesday only 24 positives detected through the PDIA tests (antigen test and PCR). We have to go back to June 5, when 26 cases were registered, to get closer to a figure similar to that of this September 7.

A good figure that also extends to the rest of Andalusia, which barely adds 307 new infections this day.

Deaths

Despite the good data in the number of infections, Almería suffers another blow by adding three new deaths in the last 24 hours. There are already 908 people with Covid who have lost their lives since the start of the pandemic.

This Tuesday, good data does not arrive from hospitals in the province either. The IECA reports twelve new admissions, one in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

A total of 218 people from Almeria have overcome the disease in the last 24 hours. Since March 2020, there are already 63,713 people who have defeated the coronavirus.

The number of active cases falls to 4,137.

Last 14 days

Incidence rates for the last 14 days fell yet another day. The province of Almería places its rate at 158.1 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.

The situation of the health districts of the province is as follows: Almería has 153.9 infections, Poniente has 186.1 and Levante-Alto Almanzora, 113.6 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.

The capital of Almería currently has an incidence rate of 152.5 infections in the last 14 days per 100,000 inhabitants.
