The pandemic stabilizes: the weekend leaves 80 new infections

Active cases in the province are 3,313

The coronavirus pandemic stabilizes in the province, as in the rest of Andalusia. Another good news: Almería does not have to mourn deaths in the last hours.

The Institute of Statistics and Cartography of Andalusia (IECA) communicates this Monday a total of 80 new cases detected through the PDIA tests (antigen test and PCR). A figure that corresponds to two days, since the Board's Health Department does not update these data on Sundays.

A week ago the new positives, also corresponding to the days of Sunday and Monday, rose to 164.

Deaths
With no deaths in these 48 hours, Almería maintains the figure of 911 people who have lost their lives since the start of the pandemic, in March 2020.

The data from the IECA reveal that in these last two days the province has not experienced new hospital admissions, neither in the plant nor in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

On the other hand, 197 more are added to the number of people who have overcome the virus. There are already 64,899 people from Almeria who have defeated the coronavirus.

The decline in new cases and the increase in cured cases lower active cases in the province to 3,313.
