Coronavirus infections continue to rise in Almería, which has added 59 new positives in the last 24 hours, one new death and three hospitalized with covid-19, one of them in the ICU.

With these data, the incidence continues to rise to 87.2 cases per 100,000 inhabitants in 14 days, 4.2 points more than on Tuesday. However, the province launches the new semaphore of the covid approved by the Government and the autonomous communities at low risk, in which the territories with a rate of up to 100 are now, compared to 50 so far.

The Almería Health District continues to be the area of ​​the province in the worst situation, reaching 117.9 cases per 100,000 inhabitants, 4.6 points more than on Tuesday. Interestingly, the capital only rises very slightly, five tenths, and is even below the district average with a rate of 117.2.

After the drop on Tuesday, the Poniente rises this Wednesday practically in the same proportion and remains at a rate of 75.6, 5.2 points more than the previous day. Finally, the Levante remains the district least affected by the coronavirus, and remains below the 50 rate, exactly at 45.7.

At low risk

Both the Poniente District, the Levante District and the Alto Almanzora are in a low risk situation with the new COVID traffic light. Only the Almería district remains at medium risk.

Andalusia

The province with the most cases this Wednesday was Seville, with 152 positives; followed by Málaga (148), Córdoba (132), Cádiz (128), Huelva (65), Almería (59), Jaén (57) and finally Granada with 42 infections.

The autonomous community has registered only one deceased in 24 hours, and it has been in the province of Almería, where the fatalities of the pandemic already amount to 936.
