El Ejido is already preparing to enjoy the fair and festivities in honor of San Isidro Labrador, which will be held in a great atmosphere of tradition and coexistence from June 29 to July 3, after two years of the pandemic.
For this reason, the mayor, Francisco Góngora, highlighted during the presentation of the program together with the Councilor for Culture, Julia Ibáñez, that "this festivity is participatory, free, alive and accessible to all audiences where we celebrate that the agricultural season decreases in intensity, the end of the school year and the arrival of summer”.

The Pyrotechnics Festival is also resumed in its XXIV edition with the participation of three companies that will fill the nights of the San Isidro Fair with color. Julia Ibáñez has detailed that “on June 30 it will be Pirotecnia Tamarit's turn, which combines the experience of its staff in the sector with the illusion of being a newly created pyrotechnics, specifically from 2018; on July 1 it will be the turn of Pirotecnia Turís, from Valencia, which stands out for its extensive professional career and the great variety of colors of its castles, made digitally; and, finally, on July 2 Pirotecnia Pibierzo from León, will delight with a show that supports his great professional career, with several awards and recognitions within the sector”.
On the other hand, the exhibition of human statues will return to the Park on Friday, July 1, when it will be filled with eight figures placed on podiums that will come to life as citizens interact with them. Exhibition hours will be from 7:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
And as for the fairgrounds, there will be more than 30 attractions and 19 skill games stalls, 15 food stalls and traditional wine stalls, nougat, ice cream parlors.
Inclusive fair and 'children's day'
Children's Day is celebrated both on Wednesday, June 29, and Thursday, June 30, with 50% discounts on tickets.
