Everything is ready for the coastal town of Almerimar to host this Saturday the 'Gran Premio Murgiverde 2022', which returns this year achieving its sixth edition.
This important event, which is included in the El Ejido Popular Race Circuit, is organized by the Murgiverde Athletics Club with the collaboration of the El Ejido City Council, the Municipal Sports Institute and the Almerimar Local Board, and with the sponsorship of Murgiverde SCA.
"It is a very attractive race because the route takes place by the sea, by the docks of the marina and the golf course, so that the participants can enjoy the benefits that each enclave of this nucleus offers during the test" , highlighted the Councilor for Sports, María José Martín, who added that it is "a day that can be experienced as a family, where everyone can practice sports together and outdoors, since different categories and distances are established so that young and old can enjoy the activity.

The prices are 10 euros for the absolute test, while it will be free for the members of the Murgiverde Club. For children, the registration fee is two euros, establishing a maximum limit of 400 participants.
On the other hand, the collection of numbers will begin at 6:00 p.m. and the competition will begin at 7:00 p.m. in the Brisamar Park with the children's races. As for the start of the 10 kilometers, it will take place at 8:00 p.m. from the vicinity of Parque Brisamar towards Paseo de Levante and in the direction of the Puerto Deportivo. Next, the docks will be crossed until connecting with the Paseo Marítimo de Poniente to enter the golf course from where you will head back.
