There was a brief discussion about Spanish law and how urbanisations are managed at the AGM for our urbanisation last night.
After the meeting I remembered that there is a thing called "The Law Of Horizontal Property" (Ley De Propiedad Horizontal) in Spain. This defines a set of legal rules for how urbanisations are managed. Plus the way in which additional local rules can be added on a per urbanisation basis.
The central rules get changed from time to time so the following article from 2012 may be a little out of date. However it gives a good general idea of the situation:
