It was a good home match fpr UD Almería last night.A 2-1 win against Mirandes.

As the stadium is filling up now we have moved back to our reserved seats. As there are no quiet areas we can sneak into to try to keep our distance from people. Thanks goodness for the very strict mask wearing protocol in the stadium.

We had plenty of chances in the first half and missed a couple of sitters. Plus had a goal ruled out for offside.

In the second half we continued to play well. Sadiq scored twice. The first one was a great strike, the second a neat finish. The second centre forward we brought on in the second half, Diego Sousa, set up the second goal.

Sadly we did not keep a clean sheet. They scored with a rebound from a saved penalty. With the last kick of the match.

You can see some highlights from the game here on the Diario de Almería site.

All 3 of the top teams won over the weekend so no change at the top of the league. We are still second, one point behind the leaders Eibar.

Next match is another home match, against Fuenlabrada. On Friday 25 February at 21:00. Fingers crossed for a good result.
